Michelle lives in Ajax, ON and is mother to 2 boys, aged almost 8 & 3.5 months, with another one on the way! She works at home and loves to be in the kitchen. This blog was born of frustration: locating nutritious, easy-to-make recipes with appeal to all the people at the breakfast/lunch/dinner table was overly arduous. Since I love being in the kitchen, and post many recipes to my facebook page, a blog of my own seemed a natural conclusion.

Here you will find recipes for all occasions. I prefer to cook from scratch, and believe that if everyone knew how easy it is to do this, they would do so and the food industry would change dramatically! This is not to say that you will not find recipes with convenience foods used. You will. I am a child of the 70′s and grew up eating kraft dinner and hotdogs, as well as filet mignon and Baked Alaska.  My family loves to cook, and I inherited my passion for food from my parents.  My goal is to share this same passion with my kids, teaching them how to make magnificent meals while still enjoying KD & hotdogs from time to time.

The overall goal of this blog is to provide recipes that use real food ingredients – be they fresh or frozen – cooked on a stove or in the oven, that can be enjoyed by everyone. While I’m new to this blogging thing, I’m looking forward to this adventure!  In the end, we will all have real food with real cooking that taste really good.
